This 90mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope is a fully GoTo telescope. It's on board computer knows the night sky. Just power it on and your telescope will be ready to take you on a tour of the universe. This telescope has a folding optic assembly that uses a mixture of mirrors and lenses to pack an incredible 1200mm focal length in a contract 12.5 inch optic assembly. With a marvelous magnification of 155x when using the 9mm eyepiece, this telescope is great for backyard astronomy. The big magnification will give you jaw dropping views of the moon. With planets you can see the Rings of Saturn and the Moons of Jupiter and great views of Mars. In dark skies you can see distant nebulae and galaxies as well. The iOptron SmartStar-G Alt-Azimuth Mount with Gps, a.k.a. The Cube, is probably the most functional and flexible unit on the market. Both axis motors are built into a small singular unit.
